Default Noise After Brake Pad Change????

Hey Guys,
I just replaced the pads w/ factory standard ones quite easily but there is now a "grinding" sound coming from the drivers side front wheel (wasnt there before). Its a constant, speed related sound that is not affected by applying the brakes. It does seem to go away when turning to the right. I havent had a chance to pull the wheel back off yet. Any suggestions????

Thanks
Frank

did you bed the pads in? I'd drive around in it and see if the noise is still there after a couple of hundred miles.

Could be a lot of things. Does the grinding sound like a thin piece of metal scraping against rotor? The heat shield might be coming in contact with the rotor. If it is just bend it back.

Lift the front of your car and take the wheels off - spin the rotors to find the grinding spot - and try what has been suggested before as well.
