PSE was not standard on the 40th Anniversary nor was a short shift kit --- They should have been for sure!
Here's a list I posted many many moons ago:
Standard features on the 40th (including X51 items):
Engine data at a glance:
Displacement 3596 cm3
Bore 96 mm Stroke 82.8 mm
Max. torque 370 Nm @ 4800 rpm
Power output 254 kW (345 HP) @ 6800 rpm
Compression ratio 11.3 : 1
Engine type M96/03 S
Governed speed 7300 rpm
Here's a list I posted many many moons ago:
Standard features on the 40th (including X51 items):
- Intake air manifold (in cast aluminium) with modified cross section
- Adapted intake manifold pipes
- Exhaust manifold with larger cross section and optimized flow characteristics
- Cylinder heads with optimized inlet ports to eliminate any existing interference edges. Resulting in an even more uniform distribution of the mixture to the individual cylinders.
- Camshafts with greater valve stroke on inlet side and modified inlet/exhaust valve timing
- Inlet valve springs adapted to increased valve stroke
- Modified bulkhead box in oil pan to ensure a reliable oil supply at the higher cornering speeds.
- Additional oil scavenge pump (3 total).
- Modified map for the ME 7.8 Motronic control unit (DME)
- Polished exhaust tailpipes
- The standard G96/01 transmission with limited-slip differential is fitted.
- For additional cooling the radiators for the Turbo model are fitted.

A luggage set, briefcase and key case made with the same leather as the interior were also standard on the 40th. GT Silver paint was exclusive to the 40th, CGT and Boxster 550 commemorative edition.

Exterior paint (paint to sample), PSM and sport suspension were options on the 2004 C2. I didn't see the TT/C4S front bumper or the polished wheels in the model guide.
