Absolutely!!!! The sales person wanted to know my range. I told him $34-$35 IF everything checked out.
He mentioned that one wheel has curb rash and there are some chips in the paint. I need to see everything before making an official bid.

I drove this car a few months ago. It's fairly nice overall. A few observations: the tool kit was scattered across the interior and front trunk, spare not mounted properly, the car sports snow tires that were mostly worn and the carfax indicates it's been on the lot since sometime in 2007. There are a couple of nicks here and there in the paint. Seemed to drive pretty well. Salesperson indicated it would be CPO'd. If it were me, I definitely would invest in a PPI, probably with AA in nearby Canton, CT. Hope this helps.

Any ideas on a fair price?

I would hold fast to $35K with no paint work. In addition to the PPI, get a paint meter and check yourself.

"WE PUT A WHOLE BUNCH OF NUMBERS IN A HAT AND YOU GOT $64888,LUCKY YOU.40 CARS ON A SPREAD SHEET SOUNDS A LITTLE SILLY.HAVE FUN."
My response:
"Why is keeping track of available cars silly? I am in the market for a 40th anniversary 911 and am trying to determine a fair price.
I wish you an equal amount of fun, trying to sell a 40th anniversary 911 for $65,000. Stick with selling Subaru. You are out of your sandbox trying to sell a 911."
I never knew that I would run into so many clueless people when trying to buy a 911.
