Default New to 996 world

Guys and Gals

Finally, after 10 yrs in my wonderful 993, i am moving into a 996. A 2002 C4S.

After a long test drive, the only analogy is my 993 is as far from my first 72 911S and the C4S is from the 993.

Did I choose wisely???

The car is silver is with a black interior. So, the question I have for the board is; what suggestions do you have to personalize the car.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I look forward to posting more.

Congrats! The best "personalizing" is forming a "bond" with the car from a lot of driving (on the track helps too).

Set some goals to drive it as much as possible - and then the rest of the mods / customization will come naturally!

Welcome.

The first mod I did was a B&M short shifter - a must have.

Enjoy - drive fast and safe!

How did you like that 84 944 turbo? I've had a few, but my earliest was an 86...

The 996 is a step above the 993, I just love mine. Good luck w/it.

Ferdinand,

I am actually thinking about adding one to drive around in addition to the 996. There are more 964 C4s than C2s. I would be happy to share some of my findings so far. Look for PM
