SS brake lines are a big waste of $$ IMHO. They tend to leak, unscrew and bind. ALL contemporary brake lines are metal braided & rubber coated and do NOT flex, bulge or are soft. Any "improvement" in brake feel from going to SS lines is the result of new fluid and bleed, not the lines. But if you like the bling, it's your $$, no ones going to fault you. OEM Porsche brake lines appear to be excellent quality, from what I can tell. SS lines belong on off-road vehicles or Dakar racers, where exterior physical damage is a real threat.
