Yup, I'd recommend seeing the wing before purchase. I have an OEM wing now, but the first purchase was an, ahem, "exact copy" from DPS. It wasn't an exact copy and I ended up sending it back.
The MKII wing is probably easier to purchase an an aftermarket copy, because unlike the MKI wing it doesn't have any moving parts. I believe that Marc bought his from MAShaw and was happy with it.

All the other Aero parts on my car are Porsche but I was not to thrilled about spending 3K+ on the factory wing.

I would get a front bumper too cause not really recommended to mix aero wing and turbo front. Personally I would stick with the 40th look with no wing or do a complete earokit II look just like what Marc Gelefsky did to his car.

I love the front end of my car so I'm definitely not going to change that out. That's probably why I haven't seen a 40th with one of those rear wings on it... I still think it would look pretty cool though!

Those MA Shaw wings look well done. Are they dimensionally identical to the OE wings?
>>My aero wing was lighter than the decklid I removed.
Any idea how much lighter the aerokit wing/lid assemblies are than the C2 motorized lids?

I think none of the replicas have the 3 point adjustability that that the OEM's have.
Suncoast sells MK1 replicas.... give them a call
Note:... whats even harder to get is the gurney lip, which imo completes the look. GL
