Dude, you're talking about Porsche owners. The longest threads around debate the merits of one oil vs another.
I still think the fact that Porsche doesn't offer a detail method to put the car on jackstands is part of the reason that there is no uniformly accepted manner of doing so.
Im actually surprised how long this thread has stayed alive considering the relatively simple issue of jacking up the car. I only started it to warn newcomers to these cars (new 911s) that jacking from the engine can end the life of worn-out mounts. Who thought jack points would be so polarizing?
