Personally I had a neighbor tear down and old shed and the resident promptly moved into my truck in my garage. I killed the son of a gun, but not before it pissed all over the engine compartment and built a nest in the windshield motor area. Smelled like hell !!
I put dryer sheets all over the garage now because I am not interested in finding an alternative name for P-car

I also set couple of sticky-pads mouse-traps on both sides of the garage door sides that have tight gaps but enough for small mices to get in during cold winter time. Time to time one does get trapped on those sticky-pads, so those do work without making a mess. I don't like to do this but I do need to protect my baby... My Bro in law had mices destroy the whole ignition wiring harness on his brand-new BMW 750Li that requires dealer to special order new harness from Germany for a lot of money, crazy.

Don't know if it's the smell or what but it does keep them away. Put a few in the trunk, a few in the passenger area, even in the engine bay if you want. I use them in cars, boxes in the garage, anything.

Chao, I would gladly help you, if little rodents snacked on your Porsche wiring. I am taking delivery of my next project car in a few days. I will post pictures of it here, when I have it in my garage. Rodents have been living inside it for about 25 years. It should be fun.

I found signs of a mouse who decided to use a clean t-shirt rag in my trunk as his winter home today.
It is unbelieveable that there are holes in our car which allow a mouse to get in.
My car has never been in an accident so ....
I cleaned out my trunk and set two mouse traps in there. Let the hunting begin. I just hope it does not make a mess....
