Default knick knacks

What kind of knick knacks did original owners receive with their brand new 996's. Were there any plaques/certifcates, or displayable items?

In 2001, we received a wooden desk plaque (sort of a paperweight) with a Porsche crest and a metal plate with the VIN on it. It's a very nice display item.

Ha!

I know there was also an instructional video for the '99 models. Coochas posted it on his website.

The plaque sounds cool to have. Just something I'd like to try and get when purchasing a used vehicle.

A solid aluminum pyramid with the Porsche crest and VIN. One Porsche crest leather key ring. All the promotional posters for the C4S when I allowed them to display the car in the showroom as their "launch car". The salesman also laminated the window sticker for me, and promised me a Porsche indoor car cover. Never got the cover . Didn't stop me from buying the wife's Boxster from them, though. This time just got the leather key ring.

I am seriously considering keeping the aluminum pyramid even if I sell the car.

I'll definitely be keeping my paperweight when I finally sell my car way down the road.
