1 reason could be that your steering sensor is off. Easy fix for the dealer.

Sometimes if you drive off a ramp, one wheel comes off the ground. Leaving a gas station for instance. You cross diagonally and perhaps brake. If one wheel is off the ground it confuses the ABS system and you get a warning. Drive long enough and it goes off. Otherwise shut down and restart and it clears the code. If it doesn't happen again (codes and light), ignore it. With low cars like the GT3 this is fairly common. Could this have happened to you?

I had an ABS/PSM failure when my steering angle sensor went bad. The light stayed ON continuously and ABS/PSM did not work. Don't ask me how I know.

This was exactly what happened to me on a couple different occasions. Light cleared itself soon after.

Check you brake lights - an intermittent brake light switch can cause the same problem.

Check the fuse box. Sometimes the fail comes from a broken fuse

Turn the ignition ON, depress the brake padel x times. If lights come ON, then replace the brake switch. It costs around $10. Happened to a few rennlisters.

A malfunctioning brake switch causes that problem. It's a cheap fix. The switch is located on the front side of the brake pedal post near the hinge at the top. To confirm, the next time that you have the problem, have someone check to see if you have brake lights. If you don't, then it probably is the switch.
