That's a big list!
Ed

PS... I forgot to add the "want" NEED of new suspension as mine is shot....
That's the risk... and even worse, because the wife is the final arbiter... She thinks it's "just a car" and considers it such... (yeah... like football is "just a game")... oh how it pains me to hear that! (both of them...)

It is a big list, but at least it's short...

I asked Santa for the Porsche flashlight for the cig lighter (I am 27 and my sweet old mother will still not admit the truth about Santa) and she wrote back saying "Santa declined your offer. $50 for a stupid flashlight just because it has the P logo on it is ridiculous and Santa's elves refused to manufacture this".

It looks like any and all mods for my P will have to be purchase seperately by me and not as gifts.

So at the end of the day, I am asking Santa's elves to manufacture the american dollar.

For my '02 C4S:

Fabspeed exhaust
Kenwood DNX8120 double-din head unit (GPS, iPod, XM, Bluetooth)

Speaking of the last wish - can anyone recommend a stereo place in NY - ideally Westchester - to do the work?

Nope, not a 996. If I am going to "dream" a little, I want a 2009 '09 997 C2S in Carrara White with Sea Blue Full Leather, plus:
  • Carrera Sport wheels - XRR
  • PASM Sport Suspension
  • Thicker 3-Spoke Steering Wheel in Smooth Leather
  • Power Comfort Seats
  • Supple Leather Front and Rear
  • Rear Center Console in Leather
  • Gear Lever Trim in Leather
  • Storage Compartment Lid with Model Logo
  • Heated Seats
  • Door Entry Guards in Stainless Steel
  • BOSE High End Sound Package

It's not like I have given it much thought.

However, I really think I can get that car..... in 2029.

My car'll be lucky if I wash her this Christmas she's had it so good all year. If I do keep the car up north this winter and go to snows, I might have the summer wheels trued, and that'll make both of us happy in the spring!

so far we picked up:
  • Stock second set of wheels, 17" Turbo Twist
  • 4 almost brand new Blizzak tires
  • MKII GT2 front OEM hood - Yellow - mint condition
  • MKII GT2 OEM rear wing - yellow - mint condition
  • 02' GT2 cat/muffler and tips - 2k miles - like new
Do the GT2 cats/mufflers work on a C2? I thought the cans were laid out right behind the bumper cover ad the cats on the sides (opposite of Carrera)

No way dude. You want a 2009 C4S with PDK. I got to test ride (I opted not to drive) the Meteor Gray 2009 C4S with PDK at Park Place this past Saturday. The salesguy showed us the race launch control. It felt like the lord almighty himself just picked us up and threw us!

Anyway, my list:

- Third radiator
- spacers (debating on 5mm)
- ssk
- exhaust (most likely Fabspeed)
- X73 suspension

But it's going to be a while before I start doing anything.

Suncoast says the kit won't work for the C4S.

Anyone know why?

Now that's a bummer, I didn't even notice that. I guess it's a good thing that I haven't ordered it yet!

Does the 996 Turbo come with a third radiator?
