Question What’s On Your Xmas List For Your 996?

I’ve got a few small items that others can get me; the larger items I’ll get those for myself later.
  • Touch Up Paint
  • License Plate Frame
  • P-Car Martini Lid

Later
  • Lloyds Custom Mats
  • C4S Aluminum Door Sills
  • Alcantara Package

- Upper center console in CF

I found in Spain a man who is making good quality interior pieces in CF.
If he does them in real good quality, I'll order him others.
(I talked to Gradus Futura but they are too far from me)

Probably just new summer tires for next year. Oh, I've been wanting to do that TSB for the squeaky windshield... Maybe a bath, too.

Lots...but none that the wife will buy me as christmas gifts. Probably because I'm done with what I want to do other than really expensive stuff that's hard to justify. (GT3 RS uprights, control arms & PMNA toe links with bump adjustment)

New mats would be a nice touch though...even though I really don't "want" them.

I'm going to send mine a Christmas card, if I can find where she lives now!

Santa is dropping stuff off in my garage but I will need help...
so far we picked up:
  • Stock second set of wheels, 17" Turbo Twist
  • 4 almost brand new Blizzak tires
  • MKII GT2 front OEM hood - Yellow - mint condition
  • MKII GT2 OEM rear wing - yellow - mint condition
  • 02' GT2 cat/muffler and tips - 2k miles - like new
Working on:
  • a set of tires for next summer - slightly used - MS2's 235/45/18 and 295/30/18
  • set of locking / or stock wheel bolts to replace the ones I lost the key to

So...big question....How do I get an OEM mkII gt2 wing to sit on the back of my 99' C2?.... and that muffler would be great, but how? let the search for parts and ideas begin

New wheels, tires, row m030 suspension. All coming next week. I wish I could buy one of these cheap TT or GT3s but the problem is I know I won't be able to sell my own car for more than 18K apparently. (if that).

You bought a MKII GT2 kit for your MKI car? Will you be doing a headlight conversion? you should look at sideskirts too. Checkout FLY996's car for ideas.

I would also look into suspension upgrade. When were those parts replaced?

Nothing. Hoping I still have a job and, hence, can still keep my car!

Geez, mine is completely stock, so where do I start. Fortunately I'm not a racer type, so my wishes are simple...

Full CF kit: dash, center console, doors...
Windscreen (really for the wife)...
One of those fancy double-DIN multimedia center with GPS, radio, CD, bluetooth and iPOd connection

All the really good stuff (aero kit, fancy wing and GT front and rear bumpers will have to come after the "newness" (wife's perspective) has worn off... or maybe a chip or three into the bumpers will help my case for early conversion???

Yea, I took mine out when I first got it and chipped the hell out of the front...now I just drive it and say, "one of these days I will fix that, but since its already chipped, might as well keep driving"

That's a big list!
Ed

PS... I forgot to add the "want" NEED of new suspension as mine is shot....
