First units of 996 models were made at late 1997.

1996?

oops! I mean it's a 1999. Would a 2003 996 c2 wheels 18x8 and 18x10
rear offset 65 would fit earlier model 996? Or does it need spacers?

Ed

First rule of Rennlist.... never, NEVER apologize to a Newbie. You need to slap 'em around a little to get their attention!

mikop1, Welcome to Rennlist. As Ed mentioned, it is customary for Newbies to post pics of their car so we can all see it. So now I have to give you the "Newbie Initiation" speach.

Ahem! <Tim clears his throat> Come on Newbie, post the !@#$%^&* pics!

Please know that this is intended in good fun, but we really do like to see pics of the cars, because we are Pic ******! Once again, Welcome to Rennlist and Congrats on getting the P-car.

Default Sorry did not get it sooner but heres before & after

I'm not sure if the pictures are showing. The wheels are not perfect has some curb rush on three of them and the color is blue. I will probably get it redone and repainted. Some told me it looks good and some says match paint it with the car and some says black and polished. Suggestions please! And how much does it normally cost to get Rims repaired.

Thanks!
Miko

Miko, thanks for posting the pics! Nice looking car.

Yeah, I agree, you do need a rim job.... oh wait.... that didn't come out right.... let me try that again.

Yeah, I agree, the wheels need some work. I would suggest black spokes with polished lips. That would be a good contrast to your car.

Joaquin,

Thanks for the kind words. There are times when I don't have much to comtribute except maybe a little humor. If I can pass on a few laughs or even a few smiles to my fellow Rennlisters, then it is worth it.

I would love to get another 911 some day, but I am afraid it is not going to be anytime soon. I will be losing my job on December 3rd. The company is laying off over 150 corporate people and will have only 30 remaining.
