Blank Plug for CD Console hole?
I'd like to install a half-DIN EQ under an aftermarket head unit where the CD holder goes. Did Porsche make a blank plug for this spot? I could modify a CD holder, but it would be a much bigger pain in the rear, since the 4 CD holder is narrower and taller than the hole I need.
Thanks in advance if anyone has any experience to share.

Oh well, I guess the old tired and true method will just have to do.
jhunter15, Welcome to Rennlist! It is customary for Newbies to 1) introduce themselves; 2) tell us a little about their 996; and 3) post pics of their car.
Ahem < Tim clears his throat > So.... come on Newbie, POST THE !@#$%^&* PICS!
< Tim whispers so only jhunter15 can hear > The other guys make me do this. I get no joy from this sort of thing! < Tim stops whispering >
Please understand that this is all in good fun. Again, welcome to Rennlist!

Jeeze Marc, I was going to hold the storage shelf information for ransom until he posted pics! I'm trying to come up with some new and creative ways to chide Newbies to post pics of their car!

Sorry... we can always go with plan B, the threat of bodily harm until the pics are posted!

HA!
ok, ok,
I live on Vancouver Island in B.C. (just north west of Seattle).
Just got my first 911 earlier this year.
Its a 2001 C2, black on black.
So far it pretty stock with about 39,xxx miles on it.
Its got 18 inch turbo twists and i am just in the process of investigating new rubber...
Thinking about going with Bridgestone Potenza RE960 AS Pole Position, as the car is my daily driver and it can get pretty chilly up here, i figured these might fit the bill.
Let me see if i can find a pic...
