Default 997 Seats in a 996?

I want to add heated seats to my drop-top, so I'm going to be picking up some used ones. Wondering if the 997 seats will fit (and be motorized)? I like the way the 997 sits much lower, hoping to get both headroom & heat if they work.

Anyone have experience with this?

I think they do. I guess I could disable them?

My issue is that I love my 996, have no problems with it, except that I'd like heated seats so I can drive top-down even when it's cold outside. I also like the way the 997 sits quite a bit lower (I'm 6'5"), so solving those 2 issues at the same time would be great.

Perhaps you can buy something that you can put over your current seats which provides heat.

Anyone know of any device/accessory like such that might exist ???

Bump for more info. Looking at a set of sport seats that look like they have the manual back adjustment, but the power butt section.

1. Is there an adapter plug?
2. Do individual pins need to be moved around?
3. What about the seat belt and airbag warning lights; are they tripped?

Thanks

Scott it is other way around. The manual adjust is for the butt and the power adjust is for the back.

Yep; I had it backwards; thanks. After doing some more research on RT and 6PSD seems like fully manual seats would be an easier swap.
