Triangle, NC Members: What's Your Favorite Track Shop?
I need to get a corner balance and spec alignment done on my '99 C2 after installing a gt3 suspension myself. I assume while they are doing corner balance they can also set the car up with my desired ride height. I know european has a very nice alignment machine, but the operators make the difference (i once had someone toe IN my car rather than OUT; mixed up + and - values). I also don't think EP can do corner balance.
Previously I used performance chassis (see above toe issues) on my M3, but I'd like to find a more porsche specific shop this time around.
Also, while we're on the topic, please comment on my street/track alignment or add your own. I am basing most of this off of mixture of what i've seen on the forum, heard from other members, and experience in my M3.
I would like to run less camber and probably request -2.0 front and -1.8 rear but otherwise stick with the stock GT3 settings...

Dan. What tires are you going to be running at the track?
I'd go closer to 0 toe at the front. I actually run toe out a bit at the track. Tires are going to help determine more where the camber should be. If you're running street tires I had pretty good sucess with -2.0 both front and rear on sticky street tires. our spring rates are a touch different so it's tough for me to say for sure. Paul_996 has basically the same setup as you and tracks quite a bit...I'd bet he's got really good info on where to set things.

You really should, it is a great time and a lot of p-car knowledge amongst those that attend. Plus the post coffee drive is always a plus!!
