Default I need side air vent (drivers) ASAP

I literally ripped mine out with my bare hands because my Valentine One would not stop screaming. It;'s obvisouly broken, but I just could not take the one hour commute with it.....SO.... i need a new one bad. Again it is the drivers side air vent (outer) and I do not need the light witch, but if its installed no big deal.

Help!

Yeah, pics help quite a bit. We also need the year of your car and the color of the vent (assuming black, but who knows with the mods we do around here). I am sure I have the part you are looking for, since I just completed a full race car conversion and now have the entire interior of my 1999 996 sitting in my freaking garage along with most of the exterior. If anyone needs interior or exterior parts for a 996, I bet I have them. Sorry, I put the Xenons in my 986 Boxster so they are not available.

Ok, sorry . It's a 2003 996 Turbo and its the ac/heat vent on the drivers side connected to the headlight switch. Here are some pixs:

The one that is all messed up is the one I need, I included the passengers side for reference. Any help appreciated if you have one to sell.

I need it in Black by the way.

Not to hijack the thread, but I've often wandered about the purpose of the oval punch out and vent looking thingy (see the passenger side pic). Anyone know how they're used?

Vent thing is the sensor for the climate control, oval thing I think hides the screws

The ovals on the air vents don't serve any purpose. We are now covering them when doing the vents in CF.

Actually, On the euro or UK Mk1 cars there is a switch in the oval that I *think* is some kind of headlamp adjustment.

Any UK rennlisters confirm or deny?

You can see it in this pic... if you look really hard!
