Default Dying muffler, WTB: set of cans

One of my mufflers is rattling on vibration. Anyone looking to get rid of a set of stock cans? I'd be looking to purchase a set of relatively-low mileage cans, preferably the 3.6L kind.

I have a set from my 03, around 10,000 miles on them. I don't know how much they are worth and they are pretty heavy (shipping).

will the 03's fit on an 99'
I would also be interested if you come up with a price for them. I want to "tinker" with them and see if I can get some sound out of my car...but not TOO much sound!
Tried muffler by-pass.... OMG sounded awesome but I now suffer from a 20% hearing loss too (j/k)

I have two from my 2001 Carrera with 40K miles. I live in Va Beach. Make an offer if interested. 3.4 or 3.6 the mufflers are the same. Of course my 2001 is a 3.4L

I have a set from my 2003 C2 Cab if interested. I will accept an offer also. Mine has about 2,000 miles on them.

Ed,

Yes, '03 mufflers will fit on your '99. You will have to take the muffler hangers (brackets) from your current mufflers and put them on the "new" mufflers.

Before you install the '03 mufflers, have a muffler shop do the MK II PSE mod. The sound will be better (louder and deeper) than the stock sound, but it wil,l take about 300 to 500 miles after teh mod has been done for the new pipes to burn in and sound better. The mod should cost between $80 & $150 depending upon the muffler shop.

A good bottle of cabernet takes my stock mufflers (20K) from a 2002 C4s. (exit 42 on the Merritt.)

I believe that this is incorrect, hence 3.6 mufflers being more desirable for the pse mod.

Thanks so much to all for responding!

gillie, PM sent
mikeZ, def interested!
tipstall, going to try for local first. My UPS guy still curses at me for when I had wheels/tires delivered up a few flights.
bella1, my cans started going out in the mid-upper 30ks, so I am bit paranoid on the mileage right now.
