Funny how it always seem to work in the movies!!

We're showing our age
A younger person would have said they seen it in Fast and the Furious

I forgot about the Cayote..man I used to watch that show. The shifter looked like a 308/328.

IIRC from an old kit car magazine, the Coyote was a VW-based kit car with a crappy interior. All "interior" shots of the Coyote for the show were of the producer's Ferrari....which puts you right on the money.

LOL - Hardcastle and McCormick.. I used to watch that show, also. I think the judge had a cooler car - didn't he have something like a '67 vette convertible or something like that?

OK, I can't resist any longer. In the immortal words of Buford T Justice..."duck or you're gonna be talkin out your A@#" Sorry, watched this one way too many times, can just about quote the whole movie.

I like this Buford T Justice quote:

"There is NO way you came from my loins."
"As soon as I get home, the first thing I'm gonna do is punch your Momma in the mouth."

Didn't Clark Griswold drive the family truckster under a logging trailer in the original Vacation movie?

Not to take this off topic, but.....

What's your pick for the best movie car chase

Mine - "Eleanor" in Gone is 60 seconds.
Can't help but pump up my surround sound during that chase.

The ramp launch off the flatbed is a bit over the top, but at least they tried to be somewhat factual by showing the car destroyed at the end of the chase
