Why did you spend money on that car and those mods? You could have just bought a used civic, and sent all those extra thousands of dollars you saved to feed some starving kids.

Environmentalists are obviously not pleased with the owner's wanton display of conspicuous consumption. Airport workers at Heathrow also blasted the owner's excess after watching the car get the royal treatment on the runway. One commented, "This car doesn't have a carbon footprint - more of a crater," and another pointed out that it would've been much cheaper to just fly certified Lamborghini technicians to Qatar to do the service.
LOL!!

I agree - this sounds ridiculous, but it's all relative. I'm sure there are a lot of minimum wage earners out there who would look at my purchase of an expensive weekend "toy" as a ridiculous waste of money as well.

No wonder gas is so expensive. We are paying for that oil change.

The only thing about this that is wierd to me, is that he could have just flown out a technician to do it at his home, rather than shipping his car away. Even if I was a billionaire, I'd rather just send the technician to me because it would be faster and I would have my car ready to go much quicker.

Yeah, and there's no risk of sinking the thing in the ocean.

Flying one tech + oil + other parts necessary is much, much, MUCH cheaper.

I don't think anybody is jealous.

If any of us was jealous, we'd be jealous of foolery.

Kudos to the down to earth P car owners...you get to see some true colours on this forum sometimes.
I agree it is all relative, but there is a fine line between driving and moding a P car vs. spending $40Gs on an oil change. I guess when guys are born with a sliver spoon just don't appreciate $$ as some of the hard working folks.

its kinda sad when ppl dont know anything about the World outside of where they live.... ppl should travel more before making comments about something they dont know anythign about... if ppl are worried about starving children so much, maybe THEY should make an effort... true colours
