Default Wierd Air Conditioning Issue

compressor & refrigerant systems are fine (checked w/ guages). the fan works fine. the problem is that the system blows luke-warm air. i suspect the system is mixing hot air from the heater coil with cool air from the evap coil. the heater seems to work fine & i can adjust its temperature.

i think the culprit is one of three things:

1. climatronic unit
2. one of the flap servo motors (not sure which one; there are like four)
3. on of the seals that seals the mixing flaps closed

i DO have little pieces of seal blowing out of my vents; maybe it's related? has anyone experienced a similar problem? it's HOT!!!!! thanks in advance.

What were the high and low side pressures and what was the ambient temperature when you measured them?

i actually don't know. i took the car to an air conditioning specialist to have them check the performance of the refrigerant system. they told me there is NO doubt the compressor, evap coil and cond coils are working fine.

i took the A/C fan out under the passenger footwell & put my hand on the evap coil; it is FREEZING cold.

Sounds like it is as simply as you had thought, the doors are not actuating correctly.
