Default Porsche 9FF GT9

Yours for $700,000

"To understand just how crazy the GT9 is you need look no further than the CV of Jan Fatthauer, the man who created it. A professional auto-engineer, he trained with RUF, a German company that tunes Porsches to trouser-igniting performance levels. After a while, he decided that RUF’s Porsches weren’t daft enough so in 2001 he branched out on his own and named his new company 9ff"

No I would rather have the Veyron to go and do the grocery shopping in.

Why not take a CGT and make it faster than a Veyron, makes more sense to me ?

gotta agree on that one.

...the CGT would be a nicer platform to work with. That car is barebones and certainly not a street car, wheres the Veyron is not a track car.

Nice but it looks a bit like a OPEL CALIBRA in the shape... NOT GOOD!

I'd sacrifice some of that speed to make that car look better. Compared to the Veyron, we definitely have an Ugly Betty here.

0-60 mph in 4.2 sec is not faster than a stock tt. the bugatti is something like 3.2 sec...very slow down low.

Actually, i was watching a Top Gear clip on that car this weekend and I believe that jeremy Clarkson said 0-60 for the Veyron was 2.5 seconds.

The reason for the terrible 0-60 is the fact that the car is RWD with no traction control. A bit hard to launch. This car is about 2 sec faster to 185 than the Veyron.

Cool car, but makes me appreciate the Veyron all the more. I read up on this on CAR mag or something on line.

i know that the ground effects and all the body mods probably look the way they do for practical reasons (performance at high speeds), but i can't help but feel that from the front, the car looks like one of those bumper cars you see at a carnival.

cuz that would be absolutely tragic. why take a perfectly rare, no longer in production porsche flagship supercar and turn it into a straight line rocket monkey with all its aero accoutrements that's going to make it look like ****? i feel much better ripping apart the commoners' 911. much less of a sacrifice.

and i'm not following the logic here... because the cgt is a faster car than a 911.. doesn't make it a better candidate for these insanely 250MPH+ high speed rockets. these high speed runs are cool, but tired to me. you just compromise in too many other areas... which again makes me appreciate the veyron all the more. i love that car.

Why not adapt a Cayman S? He already modified the car to be mid-engined?
