Default "de-modding" my car to get ready for sale - NEW ITEMS AND PRICES

I'm going to sell my car and buy an older boxster to race in the boxster spec series so I'm removing my mods and selling them separate from the car.

Here's what's for sale (updated):

• Cargraphic headers and mufflers - CARP9636FK Headers for $1000. CARP96ET Mufflers for $1000.

• Michelin Pilot Sports (225/40-18, 285/30-18) at 75% remaining tread in front and 65% in rear for $500. Will split set up.

• JIC Cross coilover suspension with GMG drop links and H&R sways for $2000. Will split items up.

BOTH ITEMS ARE SOLD - K&N Series 63 high flow air charger and IPD Plenum for $750.

• Smoked front turn signals for $35

• Revo ECU selectable software - SWITCH ONLY for $100 --- you'd have to buy the program from a shop that sells the revo program and let them know you already have a switch (that you would buy from me). The programs are installed on your car's ecu but this switch plugs into the diagnostic port and lets you change the programming from stock to performance to race (100 octane). It's a must have for track days and cars still under warranty that want to keep it that way (switch back to stock when you take in into the dealership for service).

• NEW ITEM - front only Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires (225/40-18) used at two track weekends - 10 heat cycles. For $200.

Just let me know if you have any questions....

Great car...but some of those prices seems steep....smoked markers for 50 bucks? That's more than new! GL with your sales...some really nice stuff there.

might be interested in the cup air ducts but would like some pictures. Usually those things take a beating since they're sitting very low.

cway, you can get the 997 GT3 ducts for under $30 from Sunset Porsche. the Cup ones are around $240 for the pair. I've put the 997 GT3 ducts on my car last year.

+1...however the 996 Cup ducts are MUCH MUCH better than the 997 GT3 ducts. Don't get me wrong I've got the 997 ones on my car right now but only because I got tired of ripping the cup ones off on the street.

But my smoked turn signals are broken in!! Prices must have come down since I bought them, how much are they now?

GT3 seats are for sale but I have a local who's expressed interest so I'm checking with him first.

Cup ducts are the way to go but I think they're sold already.

Say it ain't so!!! You're 2 (ok maybe 20) steps ahead of me. (I'm planning to do the same thing. Or at least I have been planning to do it since last fall....I've been procrastinating). When do you think you'll be on the track with a Boxster??? Will you be at Laguna Seca this year?? Who will I chase in MP now?

Hey Reg - not sure who chases who, but I'm just starting the process now. Depends on how long it takes me to sell all my stuff, find a donor boxster, do the mods (at least what I can) and get a cage put in. Maybe 2010??? Ha!!

Are you really thinking of bsr? It looks like a great class to run in...

Not sure about Laguna yet - I might not be able to get in.
