BTW, I put Goodyear F1 GS D3s on my car the last time. I have more than 25k on the tires and 5mm left on the rears. They have a 280 wear rating, but have lasted twice as long as any other rears I've had on the car. I don't know if my driving habits have changed significantly or if these tires just wear a lot better. They are just now getting overly noisy. I'm going to go back to Pilot sports this time, just too see if they wear out as fast as the last set I had. The GYs have great wet grip. If anyone wants a reasonably priced tire and isn't hung up on the N rated tires, these are an excellent option. I will put them on my wife's 968 if we ever wear out the tires that are on it now. At about 1000 miles a year, it may never happen

Well, to answer your question, neither is better for a 11" wheel. The optimal size tire for that size wheel is a 305/30.
But the best in it's place is the 295/30 which is WIDELY available.

Thanks everyone.................295 30s it is. I'll get them put on tomorrow assuming they are ins stock. Shouldn't be a problem in Atlanta as that is pretty common tire
