Thanks Gus.

No worries on thinking you are going to hurt my potential sale. With that said, I would not sell at less than FMV. Selling too low will worry a potential buyer that you have something seriously wrong with the car and you are trying to unload it. Further, if you tell them you have to sell fast because of unemployment issues, then they have you over a barrel.

Do you have any offers on the table? I would negotiate with those offers if you have any and then agree on a fair price. Not sure what your financial situation is nor is it any of my business, but I would never sell just to get anything out of it and not have that burden. You'll regret it as well all all the money you have invested in it so far will be down the drain.

There are buyers out there for the 996 Turbo as long as you are patient. Trust me as I have talked to several people offline. You are priced right so just be patient.

Only serious guy was wlcraft, he was really worried about the front bumper being repainted, and seems to think it was in an accident - even after Leith told him no way. He didn't want to come over 39k, at the time I didn't want to take less than 41.5.
Its funny, a week ago I mentioned to my wife about seeing if you wanted to trade with cash - we were thinking of pulling ours from the market and moding it, yours looked very appealing.

Sounds like someone is trying to get YOUR car at THEIR price. I don't play that game, ever. I know what I will sell for and I don't come down from that. I also price it fairly so there is no BS back and forth. Sure, there are examples selling in the high 30's but most are train wrecks. The good ones are selling from 45-60.

Thank you for the kind words and advice, fortunately I didn't succumb to low ball offers from wlcrft and the like. Back in the employed realm again, didn't expect things to turn around that fast in this economy. I guess I should plan on enjoying some WZ coffee this Sat...

Getting pumped for VIR next week!

We put a full set of TC Kline goodies into the V8 E36 last night. Pulling the engine tonight. Looking like there might be some late nights this week to be ready in time.

There will be coffee as well as the general Porsche talk tomorrow. VIR was awesome with no major drama and no bent metal for the usual cast of characters.
