Callas Rennsport on Hawthorne in Torrance is probably the most thorough. I have been at the shop when they were doing a PPI and two mechanics look at the car and then go over their results with Tony (owner.) They definitely have your best interests in mind.
German Independent on Santa Monica in West LA I have mixed feelings about, but some have recommended them.
