Default Another reason I suck.

For those who enjoy a little schadenfreude...

Awhile back, I joined the PCA, just to be a good Porsche citizen. Got the little sticker. So this week, my car is going in for spring service, to get its refinished wheels and summer tires mounted, a REVO flash, new brake ducts, stuff like that. As a finishing touch, I thought, what the hell... I'll put the little sticker on. The cool kids will like me. So off I go to the dark parking garage and carefully line it up in its correct location, then stick it to the inside of my tinted side window, squeegying all the air bubbles out and everything. Perfect.

And upside-freakin'-down.

Now I'm stuck with it forever, since I don't think that I can get it off without damaging the tint. I am apparently a member of something called the bcd.

Go ahead and laugh.

I think that it is a sign to remove all of your tint! The car will look better without it. All you need is a steamer, it will not leave any adhesive behind.

Don't worry about it, it happens to the best of us.

Get the outside version of the same sticker and stick it on the outside. No one would know the difference. Now if you screw that up, you are on your own.

The sticker adhesive is still probably not 100%. A 'little' heat and patience will probably allow you to pull it off without damaging the tint.
