Nice thread Ben!! I agree with you in that the look of the full Aero on the 996 sitting on 19's is one of the best. I'm in the process of getting mine done. I need to find some rear strakes and then I'm set. Audi, i had yours as my wallpaper for a while Ben, I love the the look of your 4s, it's straight Porsche with Class all over it.

Its actually dropped another 1/8" to 1/4" of an inch now from this pic as the springs have finally settled. I will have to update.

I'm feelin' the power and the love in this thread! Siq, siq cars, period.

And, Chad, I must admit, your whip with the black OEM 18s has grown on me. I didn't see the connection with the og Fuchs wheels until someone pointed it out.

It's definitely aggressive. Looking forward to seeing pics with the rear strakes on there. Glad you're keeping it.

Thanks, partner. Funny to hear about the wallpapering connections.

Looking sharp. I like how the taco wing you can adjust the center blade up and down. Audi, Rob showed me that piece back when it was still in Microsoft land.

The people who have clowned on the egg shaped headlights of the MK1... please, go scramble yourself.

I love it and like it better than the headlights on my car. I have no shame.

Thanks man. FWIW - I have loved the MkI Aero since I first saw it in person. The lines, the style...The design departure from the "usual 911" was awesome. Still to this day, I cannot believe they gave in and went back to old. My bet - if the design trend continued, the 997 could have possibly been even MORE dramatic. Oh well...

LONG LIVE the MkI's

Totally agree with you. I don't find the 997 design to be better than the 996. Sure, mechanically, performance wise, Porsche did improve on the 996 as they should. I hope some sort of move to LEDs gives them the space to somehow pull off the impossible: Please those who grew up loving the past while concurrently attracting the newer guys to buy/continue to buy like yours truly.
