My 19s are heavy. I think they were bout 10lbs heavier per wheel than my 18' classics.

I noticed a difference in performance when I switched from my 20lb 19" Champion Monolites back to the factory 29lb 18" BBS wheels...a performance loss, that is! I just ordered a set of DPE R06 Variant S wheels 18x8 & 18x10. These wheels weigh in at about 21lbs each. I hope to gain back what I lost in unsprung weight whith the BBS wheels.

The 19s looked just a tad too big for my liking, but boy they were light!

do you have any pics of teh DPE R06 Variant S??

how come you didn't go with Champion RG5 18".. they are even lighter than the DPE...

Mainly price. The DPEs are about 60% of the price of the Champions. The DPEs are two piece, forged aluminum T6 - 6016.

I ordered the wheels about 6 weeks ago, they should be here in time for the spring.
