The sways are the same for US M030 and ROW M030.
The sways for the standard suspensions are smaller.
The article in the PCA link in an above post explains everything in detail.

Done properly I would not be surprised at 6-8 hours to install an ROW M030 especially if you do a proper alignment and corner balance at the same time. You WILL NEED a 4 wheel alignment after the swap.

There is nothing to corner balance as the shock and strut bodies are not threaded for height-adjustable perches. Unless you shim the stock perches or something, which could get very time-consuming. The OP quote of 12 hours labor was not including alignment. It's an excessive quote, as several here have indicated home garage times of 4-6 hours (less alignment).

But, hey, everybody has bills to pay and maybe his shop has a racing addiction to fund or something.

Hey Achillies, if you tell us where you are, we might be able to recommend another shop. If you're in SoCal, I'd recommed Johnson Alignment in Torrance.

I see!! I assumed the standard suspension WAS US M030 vs ROW M030....supidity on my part, as M030 is obviously an option code NOT on my car!

You have to do more than take the mounts and ends loose. To get the front one out, you have to remove the front undertray. Start counting the fasteners.

The M030/ROW M030 sway bars are larger diameter than the standard sway bars. They come with different bushings, but use the same mounts.

I just bought a set and waiting for my next oil change to get them installed. Does anyone need to see pics of the kit?

Another data point, my shop took 10 hours to install and align and rebalance 2 wheels. this was on a C4 and he said the 4 added about about 4 hours extra. Good shop, which had done other M030 jobs before.

Fantastic upgrade, still very streetable, but a lot more fun around the track.

Mine took ~ 6hrs plus alignment.
