Arnee, I'll look forward to seeing the new look on your car. I met a guy from 6-speed last week and he noticed the markers also (he has a gorgeous 40th aniv. 996). The others do look better.
Galerie, thanks...I can't wait to get the aero kit installed now.
I took a drive up my favorite mountain road this afternoon, with my wife. Dropping 8 or 9 pounds per corner does make a difference. It accelerates, corners, and stops with more of an edge. My wife said the acceleration snaps her head back now. It feels like I used to be dragging an anchor and I just cut the line.

Just out of curiosity, were those hollow spoke turbos?

Thanks!

I agree, the kit will add more to the overall look.

Thanks guys! The aero kit is coming soon...I just moved the taco tail, out from under our pool table, to the garage. It is, at least, closer to the car now.

My old wheels are solid spokes.

Match the black w/red hand painted outline of the Porsche crest to match your freshly painted calipers.
What other centers are going to fit the wheels?
Yes, I am a bit stuck on the red, just think that it would set it off. I also can picture the outer rims painted matching blue (to tie it all in)

You sure? I had some 01' 996 c2 chrome wheels that weighted nearly 40lbs/wheel. OEM.

Ludwig, the red would look nice with red calipers. Oem Porsche or Kinesis are my only choices. Here are a set of blue Kinesis wheels with the outer rim painted blue. I love it. When I have the aero kit painted, I could always add some blue. Thanks for the input.

Blinkwatt, I weighed them today on my scale. They have the indented backs...unfortunately they are solid. The hollows would be easy to sell. I don't know about mine.

That is a very nice example of it Mark
It works on that M3 and even though you have a different shade of blue I believe it will have that impact as well and connect the car.
Keep on plowing on, I have certainly enjoyed reading about it.

Mark those are really nice wheels and I had them on my watch items. Glad you got them since they weren't gonna fit my RSA. Problem is the seller had told me they were 18x10 but were listed as 18x10.5. Didn't want to end up with a set of wheels sticking out of the fenders. Great buy!!

BTW, was there really two wheels painted and two anodized??
