So my CF wheel is a bargain $1350-1400 shipped to the States. Yay.

And I misspoke, apologies... the diameter is curiously the same (38), but I swear there is a smaller diameter version that's OEM that is also thicker?

Maybe it's smaller looking cuz it's now thicker.

i'd like to love it... but it's just too thick and with too much shaping going on to fit the rather bland/conservative porsche interior. do u know what i'm saying? maybe in the bangle bmw interiors it could be done... heck not even in the new bimmers would it look at home.

just my visual taste....

I'd take my "bland" interior over any 997 "aluma-fest"!

Anyone have experience with them WheelSkin wraps like from Automotion? Quality? Do they just get wrapped over the existing steering wheel without removing the existing cover? And do they add any noticeable thickness?

Just a thought...

The wheelskin products are pretty good. I'm put them in other cars to "thicken" up a steering wheel. It just goes over the existing. Drawbacks are that is just never looks as good as factory wrap.

That is my wheel in the picture. It is superb. AGLA did a great job. Took 6 weeks.

Everyone who saw it at VIR loved it. So it goes. I use it every day and it puts a smile on my face. I had the Dallas shop do an Acura wheel for me and it was ok...for some reason they just missed what I wanted out of the project while the AGLA person understood my goals better.

Just me. Best of luck.

Thx. I'm thinking about trying them out. Don't seem to cost a whole lot if I'm just trying to thicken the wheel out a bit.
