Thumbs up OK, I am now in Dallas!

OK, I just know that many of you were concernrd if I had made it to Dallas of not, so I just wanted to let you know wthat I made it save and sound.

I left Charlotte Thurday and drove most of the day through moderate to heavy rain in GA, AL, & MS. Friday was better, overcast and a light mist most of the way. I arrived in Texas at 12:44 PM on Friday and got to my office in Dallas at 3:30 to get the packet for my apartment. The car handled the trip well and I really enjoyed the trip, despite the rain.

I got a nice surprise when I got to the apartment complex. They told me that the computer arrived on Friday morning. I had ordered it from Dell on Tuesday and they indiacted that it would arrive on Monday. I thought I would be "off line" for a couple more days. I got the Dell XPS One, which is an "all in one" computer and I have to say it is pretty neat.

So y'all can sleep easier tonight, because you no longer have to worry about me traveling to Dallae.

Nice m8, goodluck with the new job!

Sweet shipping time for that DELL, here in Sweden we need to wait at least 2 weeks for a DELL computer =/

Glad that you made it safe and sound. Any speeding tickets?

I figured you'd be back here as soon as you fired up the new computer.... welcome back. You've missed a barrel load of fun.

Phil,

Yeah, I drove the P-car down. She ran well. Oh, and NO speeding tickets thanks to cruise control!

Great to hear that you made it to Dallas without any issue, not even a speed ticket You must have resist the temptation to speed in a P-car on an open road, right? So for now, you still have your 996 until the lease is over, is that right? Enjoy the car as much as you can. Again welcome to DFW! Cheers,

Yeah, I know. I inadvertantly hit the Submit button twice and created two threads. But I did close the second one. Don't I get any credit for that???
