Default Misha GTM wing is next (replacing the GT2M)

I just picked up Misha's GTM wing so wanted to share some pics of it out of the box for future reference for other members who may search on this.

I'm not completely sure whether this wing will look better than the GT2M wing (essentially the same OEM GT2 blade design), but why not give it a shot? My 50Cent4S is somewhat of a guinea pig here since I have yet to see a widebody 996 Carrera4S GTMed out, but Misha designed it in a clever way where swapping out the blades is ez operation.

I'm off to Miami for the week, but setup an appointment with the good paint shop so hope to get some pics of it installed in a couple of weeks.

Best,
Ben

Well...time will tell. Hard to see much of a change going by the pics. Will have to get back to you once you post the completed pics.
Should not leave clothes and sharp objects laying around.

Yeah, and don't run with those scissors. You could trip over the wing and injure yourself.

Ben,

I just don't see that much of a difference between the two wings.

To me it would be like replacing one of the wheels shown below with the other one. If someone didn't see them side by side, they would probably not know they were changed.

Those wheels, to me, are quite different.

The wing looks close, but the new one looks more "edgy" the forward point is defiantly more pointed, and doesn't look like it has as much of a "aerofoil" shape.
But its harder yet to tell since it isn't even mounted or painted.

Looking good; please keep us posted! That's a very effective mod! I'm almost sure that the downforce with the new wing will change >3.75% above 165mph so on a very fast track you should be able to get a 0.1sec better time per lap.

Ben Can you leave the bottom attached to the car and still have access to put on the 4 nuts for the top halve....I could not without cutting more holes through the lid.

Just picked up the pork4S.

The GTM wing is smaller and sharper edged than the GT2M wing which is a replica of the OEM GT2 blade set on a GT3 platform. My shop said the piece was easy to paint over and install. Good work, Misha.

I like the GTM better, but for many, it'll be splittin' hairs. Here you guys go for reference.

My shop said they had to remove the bottom platform to attach the GTM blade.
