Very nice... and light too. I've always wanted to see actual pics of the TE37's on a 996. It looks like my suspicions of lacking concavity on the face of the wheels (specifically the rears) is correct. Light and strong wheels nonetheless! Nice!

Yeah, it's not concave in the rear. I thought it was before getting them. On another note, here is a vid one of the other guys on 6speed posted on the manufacturing process.

It's interesting.

Yeah, saw that vid in my M3 ownership days. Good vid! So the 18" TE37s weigh what, 19lbs front, 20lbs rear? With that much of a difference from OEM wheels, I'm sure you've felt considerable nimbleness with the car. I did when I had similarly weighted wheels for my M3.

TE37
18x8.5 18lbs
18x11 rear 20.5lbs

18" 02' Carrera2 5 spokes
8" Front 21lbs
10" Rear 23lbs

I notice a little difference.

i could've told you not to except the cool looking dish or on a one piece wheel no "concavity" since the narrowbodies just don't can't handle it without fender mods.

it's very functional and you're getting what u want out of them. most of the best wheels in the world are made/forged in japan.
