Default What's with the new PCA Forum?

I susbscribed, but not sure how this will differ from or add to the Rennlist forum experience. They claim they will be more interactive, giveaways, etc. I'm assuming all PCA members with an email address were invited to join. Anything new under the sun here? The site is http://pcaforums.com/forum.

I see that all the 911s are lumped into one forum.... so, who wants to be the first to wind up the 993 guys?

FYI: It appears that they ARE NOT affiliated with PCA.

In that case I hope PCA bags em for the domain.

oh boy - PCNA has a pack of attorneys that look for TM infringement issues and who (so I have heard - *I* am sure they're all nice folks) make the Hildabeast look like Mother Theresa - this could be over before it starts. PCA probably won't be amused either.

On a perhaps related note, has anyone else noticed that of the Disney movie "Cars" toys, you don't see Sally Carrera anymore?

Charlie, that's interesting. I didn't read the fine print, and assumed it was a forum sponsored by the Porsche Club of America. Maybe that explains why there are zero threads in the "911" section! I really couldn't see how this would add to either Rennlist or the 6speedline forum. Rennlist is still, far and away the best and most informative Porsche forum on the web.

These guys are a bunch of tools. Trying to copy the model of Rennlist in the hopes of cashing in. Gotta love the free-market system.

What boggles me is why in the world do they call themselves "PCA"forum when they are in NO WAY affiliated with PCA? Sounds like deception to me to gain membership.

Exactly what I thought. I got suspicious when my regular PCA logon didn't log me in automatically.
