So, I'm having an issue where my light will come on during the cooler months and go away once the car has been running for a little while. During the summer months the light tends to stay off. It comes and goes, but is absolutely dependent on the temperature. Has anyone else noticed something like this?

A couple of years ago I had an issue with intermittent brake light warnings. I checked all of the sensors where they connect to the pads but never saw anything wrong. It turned out that one of the sensor wires was stripped where it connects to the harness, not at the pad end. I replaced that sensor wire and that fixed it.

.. On race applications and my personal street cars I zip tie the sensor out of the way OR remove the sensors and the bulb from the instrument cluster.

If you want to keep your car original you can get new sensors for about $10/each.
