Default Swisstrax installed - Garage transformed!

I installed the Swisstrax tiles today, and took some before, during, after shots. I think they make my garage look semi respectable compared to horrible! So they make a little noise when you step on them - I can live with it! I got the "clearance" seconds, which cost $2.29 per square foot. Worked out to cost $700 with shipping. Better than paying $3k to have the garage floor re-done! At least for now!

What does the threshold under the garage door look like?

Thanks! I ordered them directly from www.swisstrax.com. I found out that Swisstrax have thicker, heavier tiles compared to RaceDeck, and more connectors (5 vs. 4) so they go together more solidly. Here are some garage door threashold shots (I removed the right wall tiles because I have to cut them to fit them in):

Very nice. I may check that out. I have wanted to do something to my garage also.

Thanks,

Paul

Here is my favorite shot - gets the actual colors pretty well. I'm just so thrilled that I can walk in my garage without getting paint chips on my sneakers!

This looks awesome. Would you say this is more for looks/appearance or does it actually help with maintenance and upkeep of the floor? I would think it would be a little harder to sweep up the garage somewhat as small debris could get stuck between the grooves and such? Let us know once you get more time with it.

I'll let you know after a few months, but if you saw my old floor, little paint peels would get stuck to our shoes and brought into the house, dirt would get trapped in the broken up concrete. It was a mess. So this floor should definitely be easier to sweep and blow-out using a leaf blower!
