iforged, I installed the IPD plenum on my NA 996. I was very happy with the quality of the product and the improved performance.
This is an incredible project. Thanks for sharing it. I'm looking forward to more pictures.

Thanks Mark. I am going to order the IPD 75mm plenum with the 75mm NA BORED OUT throttle body.

Went to Auto Talent this weekend to check out the car. It seems they have turned into a Porsche tuning shop. Saw a 997 GT2 in person. Wow what an amazing car. Love the new carbon fiber seats. They also had a 997 GT3 and three 996 TT in there getting various work done.

Here are some updated pictures of my car. All the 997 turbo ducting is installed as well as the intercooler brackets. The HR front and rear sways are also installed as well as the K24 18G turbos, Max Speed K24 Headers, Exhaust, and the Speed Gallery 1.2 bar wastegate. The 997 TT intercoolers were test fit and they fit perfect. The car will be ready to pick up this week and then its off to the body shop to put the rear bumper on, install the new 993 vented hood and for a color sanding and buffing.

Softronic software will be loaded next week. The project is almost done. I just ordered some more carbon fiber interior parts and will unveil the car with a full blown photo shoot in a few weeks.

very high quality job...... looks great... i must admit it is very cool.

i would have left the stock body work, or for widebody purposes i would have used 996 RSR flares.

Cloning a newer body never has strong resale. The resale is usually distroyed, or at least the mod money goes down the drain. Most people assume the car was in an accident and reskinned which sucks because it really is a nice job and color.

alot of people used 993 bodywork on older 911's.......... not really a fan of the sort. peroid correct is the test of time.

I usually agree but I have already built a crazy 996 in the past. I did not want to build another 996 style car since I had already done it. Since I already had a 996 twin turbo it made no sense for me to sell it at a huge lost and then pick up a 997 tt. To get a 997 TT to 650 HP with the GT Street Body Kit would have added another $65,000 to the $135,000 sticker of a new 997 twin turbo. It would not have made financial sense for me to do that. Its amazing how similar the 996 turbo and 997 turbo are body wise. The 997 turbo ducting bolted directly to the 996 body.
