Default After all the pressure, I had no choice...

OK, so I have been told this a few times on the forum but I did not want to change the look of my car as I thought it looked good. However, a couple of Rennlistr's that live locally to me, told me in person 'you must do this mod', so I did (no names mentioned OK Swede_Matt and Took ).

So I installed 'painted' Bumperettes and now I see why I was being told to do so.

Before:

After:

A big thank you goes out to Eric at Bumper Plugs for getting the painted ones to me very fast and in perfect condition.

Now I am deciding again, yep again, whether or not to put the rear Black Carrera badge on the car, yes Black not another colour.

Now with more Speed Yellow on the car, it is even faster

Steven, 100% difference, love the look. More like a genuine high dollar sports car (not that it isnt) but you know what I mean! Looks great. May I ask who did them and how much?

Time to change the avatar!

If the painted bumperettes were a little more within my budget, I would get them just so I wouldn't have to keep treating the un-painted ones with protectant!

I definitely think you should put the black Carrera badge on there! It would stand out and look really good. I think the car looks naked without it!

I think the painted bumperettes enhance the rear view and tie in nicely with the black Gurney lip.Great look!

There is a guy on ebay, his company is called exotic-toys, that offers painted bumperettes for a considerable value, you end up paying 115 bucks or so after you return yours and the core charge is credited. He also has great feedback, and I bought some wheels from him and they were perfect.

Wow, stunning on the car man. Thanks for posting up the pics! And yes, there is a 5hp gain per painted bumperettes when they come from BumperPlugs.com (rennlist lifetime member and rennlist sponsor, I might add).

For those of you waiting, or contemplating, or lookin' for a possible deal, email me...you just never know what I might be willing to do.

Steve: Looks great....and I for one would go for the badging in black. Yellow and black is a great contrast and the colors compliment each other.

Tim; We knew what you meant the first time, even tho you tried to cover up your inadvertant Freudian slip.

hehehe, thanks for giving me part of the credit for this. Love the new look Steven. Beautiful with the painted bumperettes.

And yes, I still think a black Carrera logo would look great. I like the contrast between yellow and black on your car and the logo will pick that up nicely on the back part.

Wait a minute, you photoshopped out the tires which matched the original bumperettes! Did you think we would not notice?
