looks siq, bro. both r aesthetic upgrades. i'd work on the tip to make it look more integrated to the holes and then you're pretty much done.

Steven - the Carrera badge looks awesome on your SY! As with the bumperettes, I knew you would come around sooner or later. If you had listened to us sooner, you would already be on your next mod!

Thanks Ben.

Yep the exhaust tips are next and like you said, I am done with the outside of the car. I know I need to go bigger, I mean wider with some ovals, do you agree? And since I am not a true fan of chrome, I was thnking S/S or going with a black finish ???

don't rush me on to my next mod, I am still trying to explain to the wife why I had to change the suspension, wheels and tyres on the car a few months back

Thanks Chuck, it is the part of the car that most people will see disappear in front of them, so I had to tell them what it was that flew past them

I thought you were serious for a minute then. Let me tell you that I have looked at it many times and measured every area on the badge many times, and it took me 2 hours to get it lined-up to my liking, but it is level and straight as it possible could be, trust me. The hardest part was trying to find a level surface to put the car on while I did it as I was using levels and all kinds of stuff to get it perfect. This was my 3rd attempt, yes I bought 3 badges before I got it right

Really, that's OK. But I have gotten to like the new look as to me it is more modern looking and doesn't have these 2 black looking things sticking out anymore.

I hear you, but my problem was that around my area I had too many people asking what my car was, I'm talking at lights, at the gas stations, etc. Some understood it is a Porsche but not the model. I live in a small city where I ahve only seen 2 other Porsche's, a yellow 993 and a red Boxster.

So really the badge was put on for a couple of reasons:

1. Because I like it and it brings black in between the wicker bill and license plate frame, it looked like a void without it. If the wicker bill was painted to match the body of the car, like a lot of them are, especially from the factory, then probabaly would not have done the badge, but I left my wicker bill black to break-up the wing.
2. To tell the non-Porsche people what model my car is (hated it when they thought it was a Boxster because that's all they are familiar with).
