On the rubbing, I'm probably exaggerating too much. If you go slower and at angles, most things are negotiable. Hell, the bumper cover is so scraped up already, who cares.
The car still needs an alignment, but the bit I drove it around, it really isn't much stiffer. I expected a more of a teeth rattler. It is different, but not necessarily stiffer from a buttmeter point of view. The freeway may be a different story. One thing supremely different is not nearly as much body roll.
Will be at the track on Friday. Need to treat it like a new car for a few sessions. Not as forgiving w/ stiffer suspensions. The test will be the balance of the car.

Thanks for the pics Dan! The car's ride height looks great!

Let us know how the track day goes. Are you driving to a from event? I'd like to know how you like the X74 on the freeway.

Funny how things work out. Was waiting at the alignment shop when yet another Porsche (TT) pulls in saying he just put in an X74 and needs an alignment. Of course that would be an X73, but who's counting. Freeway is fine. Hardly tell the diff.

Another convert. I've been loving the x74 kit for the past 5 months.

Dan,

I will be instructing for CDS at Laguna Seca this Friday. Do you know what run group you are in? It would be nice to get a ride from you if possible.

Thanks,

Bill P.

Hi Bill,
Look out. I'll be in the instructor corps as well. I'll be the only guy you pass twice in one lap. Sure, be glad to hook up. I'll be in car #721. How would I spot you?
Cheers,
Dan

Hi Dan,

I'll be in our track car the "EPIQ SPEQ" Boxster. Being a red car with some yellow graphics, you shouldn't have any problems seeing us. We are car #628 and we'll be next to a white trailer towed by a blue Suburban.

Her name is "Lucille" (Red head)

See you Friday!

Bill P.

Bill,
Uhhhh, can you tell me again why exactly you want the X74!?
Might as well get a mannequin arm/finger and duct tape it to my door. :-)
Nice looking car. I think I'll find you. See you Friday.
We almost had a 962 show up. It and a 90dB sound limit was a slight issue.
Best,
Dan
