not inferior....just not as evoloved as the 996. I heard how the earlier cars are so RAW.....I dont want to drive a RAW car....have fun fun with your original 911 cars.....I love my996 AND MY CUP HOLDERS
That's fair. You stated earlier that the 996 was a "much better car" than the 964 or 993. More refined? Check. Bigger? Check. Easier to drive fast? Check. Better suited for daily driving? Check.
Different strokes I guess. I prefer the look, sound, feel, and rawness of my cars versus GT cars. I enjoy the challenge of hustling my cars at their limit without PSM saving me. With that said though, a GT3 (sans the Biggie cup holder) will occupy a space in my garage at some point down the road.
A track prepped 996 will run circles around track prepped 964s and 993s in the hands of equal drivers.
Not issuing a challenge here Cheech. I am well aware of the capabilities of a 996 vs 964/993 on the track. The OP is my brother and I was just trying to get him out to the track to hopefully appreciate his 996 even more. Just a little friendly banter.....
