The 2" works if you're replacing the silicone hose.
If you're staying with the stock hose, you'll need the smaller one.
I first tried with duct tape and then decided it sounded a little better.
I went with 2" and new hose, before I gave it away.
I now have Fabspeed for cool noise and cool looks.
No, with the orange cap mod you'll see no change in HP or Torque, but staying with what most "high performance" parts companies say:

I had a fabspeed one but sold it - literally a generic red silicone hose and a "carbon fibre look" block off that you remove the box and replace it with the part.
