Weak Sounding Intial Engine Start Up

Worked Like a Charm!
This DIY worked great! I was initially apprehensive about removing my intake to reach the Throttle Body, but Cosmos' detail was reassuring.
Picked up the cleaner for about $4.18 at Advanced Auto Parts and the cleaning took less than 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. Here are slight modifications for folks with the K&N Aircharger installed:
1. unclamp oil filler (move out of the way)
2. loosen ring clamp for air filter
3. remove air filter
4. disconnect MAF sensor
5. loosen ring clamp holding down the intake tube
6. loosen ring clamp on the throttle body itself
(See photos attached)
Was a little surprised at the butterfly, as it required a little effort to keep it open while cleaning, but the recommended cleaner worked very well.
I also attached before and after shots as well.
Engine is sounding great from a cold start. Awesome DIY. Thanks!

You went all the way removing the intake stopped at the throtle body? It only takes the 4 bolts to remove the throttle body and clean it overall inside and out. I just did it this afternoon as well but I removed the entire throttle body and cleaned it with the spray and a rag, front and back, while off the car.

SpeedPhreak, Glad you fixed the problem! And your local dealership is at least $200 poorer
Arnee, I also didn't remove the throttle body to clean, as I was able to clean the back of the butterfly, as well as inside all the way into the plenum, as it is.
