Default Aluminum Upgrades-Do they exist?

I Am looking to upgrade the interior of a 2004 C4S 996. Everything I come across is described as aluminum or alu-look,bit it is all painted plastic.I find it difficult to believe that there are no aftermarket products made from the real thing ( center console, door lids and pockets, etc). Am I wrong?

The only true alum. trim pieces that I know of is the OEM shifter and e-brake, the alum. gauge rings and foot pedals. Everything else is imitation. Have you considered real CF, nice up-grade but expensive as everything that is Porsche.

Yes,I have the shifter and e-brake. I was just told that I can actually get the center console in real leather (if I was interested in another option and an 'authentic ' upgrade ).I have been searching ou pedals and although it is all pics-Rennline seems to make a solid product. What do you think?

Do a search for pedals, there was recently a long thread about alum pedals and a group buy!

That leather console is a beaut! Is it the real thing or 'leatherette' ( they do great reproductions of leather these days ). Where does that console come from ???

You can get it from Carnewal.com or probably from Sunset Porsche or Suncoast Porsche.
