DIY help on GT3 swaybars
I have a set of GT3 swaybars and Tarret adjustable swaybar links to be installed on a 01 C2 Cab. The physical switching of the bars and links are straight forward and no big deal. My question comes on correctly adjusting the links themselves to the correct distance. The rears were easy while the car is down I can check to make sure there is no preload on the bars. How do you do the fronts ones without putting the car on a lift? With the car down on the ground its impossible to see the links themselves let alone adjust them so that there is no preload. Any suggestions besides taking the car to garage to get it lifted by the wheels? Thanks in advance,Will

I got jack stands....where would you put the stands? Assuming the wheels are off, could I just put the stands right behind the rotors and let the weight of the car down? That seems like a good idea if I'm thinking of it correctly...

The ramps are the way to go. Those that are suggesting the jackstands do not understand that you need to install the droplinks with the suspension loaded with the weight of the car.
Ramps are your best option, or lift you car with a jack and set the wheels on top of cement blocks or something.

Yup - I think that those suggesting the jackstands are saying that you can get the suspension loaded with the weight of the car on jackstands resting underneath the frontend. Just trying to figure out where the right/best place to put the jackstands....the link above about where to put the jackstand doesn't put the load on the suspension as I need it....
