Just checking, as my instinct would be to do the dead pedal and gas first, as they would seem to be least adjustable. What am I missing?
I did the brake first, but you're right, the gas and the dead basically go where they go - no real room for adjustment. It's only the brake and the clutch that you're worried about aligning at all, though.. the other's as so different in size there's really no alignment issues per se between brake and gas, or clutch
and dead pedal..

So the point is to do the brake before the clutch, so you can align the clutch better with it - other than that, pick your favorite order

Thanks, that's what I figured, but just wanted to check. I figured that the dead pedal and gas wouldn't have that much wiggle room, so the brake and clutch should be aligned with them if possible.

Killing 2 birds with one stone.

I'm a newbie, and don't want to get in trouble. So, here's a picture of my 2001 with the new pedals.

Now maybe I should have bought a second set for my next P car because I probably will not be removing this set once I install them.

Actually the gas pedal has some wiggle room - it's the dead pedal which doesn't.

You have some side to side play in the gas pedal position, based on where you'd like it to sit in relation to the pedal underneath, and the brake pedal.

The cut away shape of the brake (and clutch) pedal makes for better access to the gas pedal without repositioning your heel - so it's a nice upgrade.

I bought 1 set, then had to immediately order a 2nd when wifey saw the upgrade to the 996, then wanted a set for her Boxster!

Could have saved on mailing costs from Taiwan

Thanks! I liked your post in the other thread and will be relying on your write up when I get around to installing mine.
