Certified pre owned? If so what does that mean / get you? Is it like a warranty?

Just a friendly reminder..... search is your friend.

Yes, a CPO is a warranty typically offered by the dealer on a pre-owned vehicle.

Certified Pre-Owned.

Here it's used in reference to Porsche's authorized pre-owned warranty. Other manufacturers also offer CPO warranties on their cars.

It gets you a new motor, like my car is getting, if your engine fails. It also covers the transmission and all aspects of the electrical system. It does not cover "wear and tear" items like clutches, suspension, etc.
