Gents,

I am after a replica wing and boot lid off the GT3 RS. Does anyone have any experience or views on the source for the best replica ones? It is to go on my 99 C2.

Have you picked up a copy of Excellence? There are alot of vendors that advertise in that mag that have what you are looking for. Do you already have the rest of the body kit?

I am using the MK1 Aero kit. I just like that particular spoiler.

Unfortunately, I am UK based so cannot readily get hold of Excellence.

Do you currently have the "Taco" wing (MkI GT3 wing)??? If so, why would you want to replace it with the MkII?

Silverstutt, I think your one is the GT3 Cup wing. I am after the GT3 RS wing that has the carbon top piece.

Although I have the Taco wing, I want a different look. IMHO, the RS is the way forward.

I don't think it will look as good on a MkI as it does on a MkII. The lines of the MkI are smooth and curvy like a beautiful woman whereas the MkII has the hard lines that IMHO don't mix well with the MkI. Besdies, that taco wing is just a thing of beauty! However, you either love it or hate it.

Anyway, to each his own, right? I have no doubt that it will look fine, but just not like it is supposed to be there. Maybe somebody can photoshop one on your car for you if you have a good pic or two to share???

Got it... although TACO IS THE ONLY WAY.... infact that wing is so forward in design Porsche will need another 50 years of experience to come up with something like that... Although, my wing and the one you want are just plain practical and very industrial looking like a jet fighter (the RS even more)... I actually like how they brake up the sexy Porsche lines just like a miniskirt does on a pair of sexy legs.

silverstutt: I like your side decal of the Porsche crest. Do you have any pic of it in detail?

Took me a week to design and execute that decal in Illustrator, then I took it to the local decal shop and they made 3 for $15 total... I bet they might charge more now, but Sticker City in Van Nuys is awesome!

I wonder if I can share the file or not, I don't want to get in trouble with copyright issues... Porsche is very though when it comes to people making and selling their crest... although I wouldn't be selling, just sharing.

btw that's the new crest, a bit wider than the old one.
